There are some stories that grab you and reel you in, almost from their very first word. And that is exactly what happened with Lori Snyder’s gorgeous, evocative middle-grade adventure, THE CIRCUS AT THE END OF THE SEA: from the very first page, I was hooked. This is a story that lingers, that will settle under your skin and stick with you for a long time.
It’s also got one of the most adorable sidekick characters I have read yet: Ophelia the mimic octopus. You can’t wait to meet her, I promise!
Without further ado, here is the exciting deal announcement:
Tara Weikum at Harper Collins has acquired World rights to Lori Snyder’s debut, THE CIRCUS AT THE END OF THE SEA, a lush middle-grade adventure about a girl looking for somewhere to belong, who discovers a magical circus that’s dying—and she might be the only person who can heal it. The two-book deal was managed by Ammi-Joan Paquette at Erin Murphy Literary Agency, and will begin publication in Fall 2021.
Debut book deals are always special, friends – but this one is absolutely All The Things. Mark your calendars now and don’t miss it!
