Back in 2006, Deborah Underwood published a super-fun book in Random House’s Step into Reading line called PIRATE MOM. It has gone on to sell over 300,000 copies, so I am really pleased the Deborah has found another story that’s perfect for Step into Reading: STORIES TO READ TO YOUR ZOMBIE. It has Deborah’s signature wit and kid-friendly humor, all in a learn-to-read package. 

Heidi Kilgras at Random House Children’s Books will work with Deborah again, and we’re looking at summer 2023 for a publication date.
