Alexandra thought she found her passion in the specialty coffee industry nearly 15 years ago, but then she started writing stories again. It reignited her childhood dream, and her eleven-year-old self couldn’t be more excited. She hopes her books connect with kids in many ways.
When Alex isn’t writing, she’s keeping busy – enjoying nature, reading, walking her pups, cooking, and shooting hoops with her son. A Michigan native, Alex now lives in Southern California with her family and feels deeply connected to the ocean. She received her degree in Environmental Studies from the University of Michigan (GO BLUE!) and is constantly in awe of nature. DINNER ON DOMINGOS is her debut picture book, with several more on the way.
