Curtis Manley was a scientist in a previous life, and his interests range from science and technology to nature to art, haiku, and poetry. He strives to create fun books with facts about the world around us and truths about the worlds within. He enjoys including real-world details even in stories that otherwise seem fantastic. Curtis grew up in Pennsylvania, moved back and forth across the country a few times, and now lives near Seattle with his wife, daughter, and cat.
