Sondra Soderborg writes contemporary middle grade fiction. Kids, tweens and teens bring her hope and inspiration. She is moved by how they negotiate the challenges of real life with humor, curiosity, and courage. It is a joy to try and capture their complex characters and stories on the page. Her first book, Sky Ropes, published by Chronicle Books, comes out in 2023.
