Michelle Read

Michelle Read is a writer and assistant pig-keeper in a village in northern British Columbia. She has long fantasized about giving up writing and just enjoying the mountain scenery around her, because, after all, she has all the bacon she can eat, but writing seems to be in her blood and she’s compelled to continue. She loves to write plot driven adventure stories with gutsy young heroines. She’s working on a middle grade trilogy set in Viking Age Iceland, and a YA road trip novel. One day, she’d like to do a farm stay in Ireland to learn more about pigs and gather material for her next novel.
