Kelly is a gal in STEAM writing for curious kids of all ages! She believes that children are often far more capable than grown-ups think they are, and loves books that trust the remarkable ability of the growing child mind. She writes to spark curiosity, courage, wonder, and joy in readers. A former energy trader, Kelly hopes to inspire more girls to take interest in STEM, business, and other male-dominated fields. Her debut picture book, I Ship, which follows the journey of a container ship, will be published by Lerner Books in Fall 2023. Kelly holds a B.B.A in Finance and Chinese from the University of Notre Dame (Go Irish!) can be found creating, singing, and exploring with her husband and two young children just outside Charlotte, NC.
