Cheyenne Smith is an author-illustrator beating the heat in Austin, Texas. With a love of all things spooky, her work celebrates girlhood, the paranormal, friendship, magic, bumps in the night, and the painful comedy of growing up. If she can manage to make you cringe and cry within the same story, she’s done her job.
Alongside her YA work, Cheyenne also runs the historical-fiction webcomic, “History Birds” and can always be found with at least one textbook on her nightstand. Favorite time period? American colonial settlement through the Civil War. Shockingly, she always got B’s in history.
Open to written work for hire and IP work in middle grade and young adult fiction and nonfiction. Special interest in horror, coming-of-age, LGBTQ+ romance, American history, graphic novels, and comics.
