Erin Kubo is a comic artist and illustrator living in Seattle. She illustrates everything from middle schoolers to monsters. Her darkly humorous picture book, The Christmas Creature, was published through DFTBA.com. She has worked on numerous comics including a short made in collaboration with NYT bestselling author, Jordan Ifueko, which is featured in Jim Henson’s The Storyteller series, published by BOOM! Studios.
Erin is inspired by stories involving anything magical, mysterious, or strange. Her comic work focuses on subtle human expression, careful pacing, and rich environments. She spends much of her time reading horror stories, petting neighborhood cats, and searching for perfectly ripe tomatoes.
