H.M. Bouwman

H.M. Bouwman is the author of middle grade fantasy and historical fantasy, as well as several early chapter books. She lives in Minnesota with her family, including her very large cat, who appears in a crucial role in an upcoming novel.

Special interests in fantastical creatures (unusual fairies, dragons, gnomes, unicorns, etc.), colonial and postcolonial history, friendship stories, magic, quirky history, maps, misremembered fairy tales, windmills, islands, snowy places, and cows.
