Lisa Varchol Perron writes picture books, middle grade novels, and poetry for children. Her poems have appeared in numerous children’s magazines, online poetry journals, and anthologies, and she earned the 2021 Boston Authors Club Discovery Award. Lisa’s debut picture book, Patterns Everywhere (Lerner/Millbrook, 2023), combines her love of poetry and her appreciation of our natural world. She has several additional books forthcoming, including My Love for You (Little Simon, 2023), a beachy board book that celebrates a parent’s love. Lisa lives outside of Boston with her geologist husband and two book-loving kids.
Open to work for hire and IP work in board books, picture books, chapter books, and middle grade. Special interest in rhyming board books or picture books, nonfiction for younger audiences, SEL/mental health, theatre arts, Earth and planetary science.
