Max Fischer

Max Fischer is a trans Pushcart Prize nominated poet who holds an MFA in Writing for Children and Young Adults. His work focuses on queer joy told through the lens of unconventional narrative structures and the merging of poetry, fiction, and nonfiction. Originally from the Midwest, he now lives in Brooklyn, writing poems at the pier. In his free time, you can find him curled up with a cozy fantasy book and his menace of a cat—Ester Lint Scribbles The First.
