Nell Cross Beckerman writes books for children, inspired by the magic of free play and exploration in nature, and the power of poetic words to evoke dreams and adventure. A former TV documentary producer and the offspring of a librarian and a scientist, she currently lives with her family in Culver City, Los Angeles, CA.
