Paula Yoo

Paula Yoo is a children’s book & YA author, TV/feature writer-producer, and musician. Her latest book, From a Whisper to a Rallying Cry The Killing of Vincent Chin and the Trial that Galvanized the Asian American Movement (Norton Young Readers/W.W. Norton & Co. 2021) won the Boston Globe-Horn Book Award and was a National Book Award: Youth Literature Longlister and finalist for the YALSA Award for Excellence in Nonfiction and the Los Angeles Times Book Prize. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband and their three cats.
